INTERREG III B SUDOE - Deadline extension for project submissions:
24 May to September 15, 2002

This first call for proposals is divided into two phases:

First phase for projects submitted between May 24 and 30th of June, that shall be evaluated and selected in mid-September by the Program Commission.

Maximum amount to be allocated: 24.059.932 euros

A second phase for projects submitted between the 1st of July and 15th of September 2002, that shall be evaluated and selected in November by the Program Commission.

Portuguese Operational programme for economic activities
POE covers a set of medium term economic policy instruments for the period 2000-2006 designed for industry, energy, building industry, transports, tourism, trade and services sectors, and was formally approved by the European Commission on 28 July 2000.
Integrated within Area 2 of the Regional Development Plan - "Adjusting the Production Profile towards the Activities of the Future" - this Programme's goal is to encourage changes in the Portuguese economic fabric. These changes should adjust the existing structures while promoting the new development opportunities offered by the Global Economy, including modern technologies with a high added value
